Operations managers are responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of a company, government agency, or non-profit organization. This position plays a vital role in the success of any company, no matter how big or small, and you would have the flexibility to work in just about any industry. Operations managers ensure that the operations of a company or organization run smoothly and on time. They work with the company's people, core operations, budgets, project execution and strategy.
